Kina, came to us at 6 months of age. She is the foundation of all the Snowolf dogs, and we are indebted to Jill & Jim Broadberry for giving us such a wonderful Malamute and an outstanding foundation for our breeding programme.

Kina is line bred back on Can. Ch. Oopik's Winter Excellence at Hyteton and, coming from a long line of great working dogs, she has the most superb construction and sound, balanced movement..........a trait she has passed to her kids, and which earned her the title of the Breed's UK Top Brood Bitch 2003 & 2004.

She has a wonderful temperament that, without exception, she has also passed on to her kids.

She always enjoyed working in harness and was a great team dog. Showing never was her favourite activity and so she was only ever shown on a limited basis. Characteristic of the Breed, Kina was slow to mature and came into her own as a veteran. She is a BBISS & multiple BVISS winner, she was unbeaten in her class in 2004 and at her one outing at a Championship show in 2005, she won Best Bitch in Breed.

Kina has also won Crufts Veteran Bitch both in 2006 & 2007.

Apart from the odd outing to a show now and again, Kina is pretty much retired from showing. She is still running with our other veterans and enjoying being a house dog, watching her kids and grand-kids follow in her footsteps!
